The Nissan Skyline has never been legal in the US for many reasons. Some have speculated the reason for this is the power that can be had in the Skyline is much greater than any police vehicle in the US and the Skyline uses AWD where most police cruisers are set up with RWD. Others feel the Skyline hasn’t been legal here because it has received a negative reputation of being one of the most dangerous cars on the road and it’s not desired in the US at all. Both these trains of thought are incorrect.
A Direct Comparison of Two Detroit Diamonds
When you think of the description listed in the title you might think about the Corvette, Mustang or Viper as the cars that will be compared. Even though most of us don’t necessarily think of midsized sedans as diamonds these cars really are as they are the cars that are used most for the purpose of commuting to and from work on a daily basis. Because of the daily grind of these cars and the fact that we spend more time in them than in any other vehicle we own they need to be valued and enjoyed like a diamond.
Turning Traffic Tickets into a Humanitarian Effort
Many times the most significant agencies that can help people who have been victimized by others are born from some of the simplest ideas and the desire to right what appears to be a wrong. Wouldn’t it be great to have a computerized system that can help us learn what our rights are regarding the simple issue of flight delay compensation but also be able to tackle more complex issues such as the rights of those who are HIV-positive and refugees who flee to a foreign land and need to understand the legal system of that country?
Death in a Tesla Causes Concern
The first American death in a Tesla Model S while using the Autopilot system occurred recently and has many wondering if the system or the driver were at fault. The victim in the crash was Joshua D. Brown, a forty year old technology company owner from Canton, Ohio who loved his Model S enough to post videos of himself behind the wheel of the car with the car in Autopilot mode. His death occurred on May 7th in Willison, Florida when the camera system was unable to distinguish the white side of a turning tractor-trailer with the bright sky, failing to engage the brakes, causing Brown to collide with the trailer and become the first fatal victim of this system.
Car Features We Won’t See on the Market Soon
Over many years the vehicles we drive have changed and developed to offer us the features that we want to have while those that have been passed by have been left behind. Just one example of this is in the audio system we see in our vehicles. Some of us can remember when cars only came with AM radios, others remember AM/FM, and still more will remember 8-Track and cassette tape decks in the audio system of our vehicles. Many younger drivers will not know anything about these features, but they may see another item about to be replaced along with a few more.
The Worst of the Worst
Often we look at different vehicles and find some form of a redeeming quality in them. This is even the case when it comes to something as awful as the Yugo was which was only loved for the fact that the price tag was so small. Other than the price the Yugo had nothing positive to offer us and it has become the staple of comparison for the most unreliable vehicles on the market. With that in mind, let’s take a look, even if it’s only for humor’s sake, at some of the most unreliable vehicles ever to come to market.
The Lincoln Revival Has Begun
Whether you thought Lincoln was dead or just dormant the fact is this brand has been performing at a below average rate for nearly a decade. Ford hasn’t put much into the brand over several years but finally the recent changes are starting to pay off and Lincoln is once again headed in the right direction. This brand was once the most highly respected luxury brand made in America, but for several years it has become known as a brand for the older generations, which doesn’t illicit much of an active response form the Twitter generation at all.
Changes Coming for the Charger
Some of us like change and others don’t at all. As we see the Dodge Charger right now we can admire the fact that it’s a heavy and powerful car that has been trusted by law enforcement officials around the country as well as being the four door power monster that carries the Hellcat engine. Does this car need to change? That truly depends upon which side of the argument you may fall on and what you think this car is supposed to be. Let’s argue this one from both sides and see what we come up with.

How Far Has 4WD Come?
Depending upon how old you are you just might remember the early days of the automotive industry and how you used to have to engage functions on your vehicle. Today we only need to push a button or flip a switch and the electronic devices we have installed on or vehicles can spring to life in order to give us the power and performance we want to enjoy.
