Stellantis will use the same STLA Large platform for this new alfa, giving it the power and range desired.
We could also see a gas-powered version in the Quadrifoglio spec name that could use the Hurricane engine and deliver exciting power and performance as an alternative to the electric Giulia.
The BMW M3 Add An Electric Version
You knew it was coming; BMW has been adding electric variants to many of its top-selling models for the past few years. The Ultimate Driving Machine, the BMW M3 is next. The new BMW M3 EV could arrive as one of the best new cars of 2025, and it should have impressive performance and fun. This new M3 should have a range of battery sizes and produce up to 1,341 horsepower in its top form and at least 700 horsepower from the base version.
Chevrolet Corvette Zora: An Interesting Mashup
What do you get when you combine the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 with the E-Ray? You get what will be called the Zora, in honor of the famous early designer of the Corvette. This new model will combine the ZR1’s V8 engine with the E-Ray’s 1.1-kWh battery to deliver 1,220 horsepower while including standard AWD for those who choose this sports car. We might not see this new Corvette until 2026, but it could appear in 2025 to get us excited for it.
Ferrari Is Adding Electric Performance
Two new performance car concepts will likely produce at least one new electric supercar from Ferrari. The first Ferrari EV should have a unique feel that delivers the brand’s exciting and fun driving experience on any road or track. This could prove to be one of the best new cars for 2025, but it will likely cost at least $500,000, making it an exclusive model. This new Ferrari EV should produce more than 1,000 horsepower from four electric motors.
2025 Is The Year Of The Polestar 5
The new Polestar 5 sedan should arrive in 2025 and be one of the most awaited and impressive electric cars to hit the market. The brand has had a rocky start, but this new sedan could be the car that pushes things forward. The Polestar 5 should have 884 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque in its most powerful version. This car should also have more than 350 miles of driving range and a recharge time of only 10 minutes.
Porsche Gives the Boxster/Cayman An Electric Powertrain
The Porsche pair of small sports cars gain electric powertrains, adding to the popularity of the Taycan. These two should be some of the best cars of 2025 but might not actually arrive until the 2026 model year. These small sports cars could have the same 800-volt architecture as the Taycan, making it easy to charge them up quickly at a public charging station. We don’t have power figures to offer yet, but we are looking for Porsche to make a bigger splash in the EV world.
The Toyota FJ Cruiser Returns
Its exciting when a popular nameplate returns to the market. The Toyota FJ Cruiser has been gone for a while but should return in 2025 to be an expansion of the new Land Cruiser line. This might be a more compact version of the Land Cruiser, wearing added body cladding and starting at a more affordable price, which fits perfectly in the Toyota lineup like the Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport fit in the Ford lineup. This could be the perfect off-roader for many drivers.
