Price and Trims
The price for the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will start around $30,000 for the base 1LT trim. The exact prices for the full lineup aren’t available yet but should be closer to the on-sale date. Chevrolet is positioning the new Equinox EV to be the most affordable vehicle in its class, which seems to be the case considering its rivals. The model lineup will consist of the 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, 2RS, and 3RS trims. All come with standard FWD and AWD is available.
Style and Features
The styling of the new 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV looks very similar to the regular Equinox. A few differences include a front lightbar, light animation on the front and rear, welcome lighting, and standard 19-inch wheels. You can also upgrade to 20 or 21-inch wheels. Once you move up to the RS trims, the styling becomes noticeably more sporty and upscale.
Inside, the Equinox EV features seating for five passengers and up to 57 cubic feet of cargo space. Color combinations and other interior features depend on the trim. Some options include a sunroof, heated front seats, ambient interior lighting, and heated windshield wipers.
The base LT trim comes with an 11-inch infotainment screen and an 11-inch digital cluster. The 2LT and 2RS trims can be had with a 17.7-inch display, and this same display is standard on the 3LT and 3RS trims.
Powertrain
Two powertrains will be available on the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV. FWD models will offer up to 210 horsepower and 242 pound-feet of torque. The AWD models get up to 290 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. The base model has an estimated range of up to 250 miles on a full charge. The higher trims have an estimated 300 miles of range with FWD and 280 miles with AWD.
The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will go on sale this fall, starting with the limited edition 2RS model, and then the other trims will be released later.
