You already know that the Ford F-150 has a large number of different ways to have this truck like the one you want to drive and enjoy on the road or out on the trails. Even so, the RTR team has brought a brand new model of this truck to the market to give you the extra items we want when it’s time for a great drive. This new model is called the F-150 RTR and it’s ready to show you how it can be the right choice for you.
How Does the RTR Model Upgrade the F-150?
The RTR truck package only lacks one thing; it doesn’t give you a bump in power. The package created can be fitted to any of the F-150 models with four doors except the Raptor. That makes perfect sense since the Raptor is an amazing truck on its own. The RTR brings you new suspension components with the Fox Series 2.0 shocks, then you see the RTR 20-inch black wheels that wear Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. These items will give you a bit more off-road capabilities than you’ll find in the regular Ford F-150 models.
You’ll also see a new catback exhaust that makes the truck become an exciting model with a dramatic soundtrack. This exhaust is only compatible with the 5.0-liter V8 or one of the two EcoBoost V6 engines offered for this truck. Up front, a new RTR grill provides an increase in the air flow to the radiator to give you the ability to make the most of the power you have under the hood. There are large LED lights that blend into the grill and you’ll see a skid plate with massive RTR lettering on it under the grill. Fender flares are added to give the wheels extra drama and an RTR graphics package and badging are added to make sure others know this is the Ford F-150 RTR.
Improvements Inside the RTR
The inside of the F-150 RTR is upgraded with a couple of items including a serialized dash plaque that’s personally autographed by Vaughn Gittin Jr. and a set of RTR-specific floor liners. Otherwise, you’ll have an interior the looks and feels the same as your normal truck to make sure you can stay on the roads and behind the wheel in the comfort that Ford has been able to offer for many years.
Even More for the Ford Truck You Love
While the package of items offered for the F-150 RTR doesn’t sound like an extreme increase over what you’ve already got in the base truck, you can enjoy the fact that you can add more for the drive if you want. The RTR model allows you to choose some aftermarket parts at your nearby Ford dealership and know that you’ll have more items and an aggressive drive in a truck that’s taken your stock F-150 and allowed it to retain the full warranty while giving you the drive you desire.
