When you have a big job to complete on a daily basis, the new 2020 Ram HD pickup trucks are built to handle the work you need to get done.
As the Chicago Auto Show opens, we get to see the new Ram 4500 and 5500 chassis cab models that reside at an even higher level for the power and the drive needed in the truck that’s going to help you get a lot of work done. You can haul a heavy load and then take what you need to where you’re going with a comfortable cabin to ride in.
Taking the Ride to the Right Place
Similar to the new Ram 2500 and 3500 HD models, the new chassis cab truck shares a lot with the new crop of Ram HD trucks. The cab hasn’t been changed on the outside but the fascia up front now reflects the new updated design of the Ram models. Once you get past the looks of the new Ram Chassis Cab models in the 3500, 4500, and 5500 models, you’re going to be pleased with what you find.
The cab of these new Ram models gives you the added comfort you want with a handsome cabin that has the quality features you’re looking for. The new 12-inch infotainment screen that we’ve seen in other Ram models is available to give you the connectivity you want, but as a truck that’s made for function, you’ll be glad to have adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking for the package of items you want as well.
These safety items are offered on all trim levels to make sure you have what you want. You’re also going to be glad to have the pack parking assist and a 270-degree camera view along with a view that helps you hook up your trailers.
More Power for the Big Jobs
These new Ram Chassis Cab models offer you the Class 3, 4, and 5 GCW ratings to make sure you can pull, carry, and haul everything you want. The standard engine offered for this lineup of powerful trucks is a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 that makes 410 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. The 4500 and 5500 models only make 370 horsepower and the Ram 3500 features cylinder deactivation to improve the fuel mileage of this truck. These three bigger trucks are also offered with the 6.7-liter Cummins turbocharged diesel six-cylinder engine that makes 360 horsepower and 800 lb.-ft. of torque.
Get Ready for More Power from Ram
These new commercial-sized Chassis Cab models from Ram are part of the 2020 model year lineup and will give us more of the size and power to get the job done.
