Recently, Mitsubishi opened a new training facility to help improve its customer service and satisfaction in Vietnam.
This new training facility is built to make certain the employees working at dealerships in the region are able to meet the needs of and provide the right information to any of the Mitsubishi customers. This new training facility comes after the brand successfully opened similar facilities in other countries. The importance of the ASEAN region to the brand is undeniable and the Mitsubishi team is working to make sure they can offer their customers the right answers.
Where is this New Facility
This new training facility opened on August 3, 2018, and is located in Binh Duong Province. This new training center offers more of what’s needed when the brand employees need something. The location was chosen to be centralized in the country to be able to serve the needs of the various dealerships and their service departments with the parts that can be stored at the facility. Of course, as a training facility, it also offers the educational needs for the sales force to be able to bring the Mitsubishi expertise to their customers.
What’s Offered at this New Mitsubishi Training Facility?
This new location will make it possible for the dealerships in Vietnam to take advantage of more education and a larger parts supply location. The training center makes it possible for the Mitsubishi team to increase the number of service training courses from 17 to 28 while the sales courses increase dramatically from six to 21. While offering more training for the teams in the region, the location is also a parts warehouse which increases the storage capacity from 700 to 2700 cubic meters to ensure more parts and items needed are kept in stock for faster service of vehicles.
The Investment is Sure to Pay Off
There’s no denying the value of investing in people. Anytime we’ve seen companies that are willing to invest in the people that operate their business and work in their facilities, those companies experience serious increases in the satisfaction of customers, which results in increased levels of income for the company. The development of this training center will allow more of the experts in the Mitsubishi dealerships around Vietnam to be able to understand and benefit from the education that’s provided during the training course.
Will We See a New Mitsubishi Training Center in the US?
This year, Mitsubishi has opened training centers in Thailand and the Philippines in addition to this new location in Vietnam. While the investment in the ASEAN region is obvious and makes perfect sense, will there be a training facility offered to the North American market in the near future? There are a few training centers already, but the question is whether or not our market is part of the forward progress for this brand. Mitsubishi has partnered with Nissan recently and we see new models on the horizon for North America, which means we could see a new training center from Mitsubishi in the near future as well.
