The C300 base model shows up with dual zone climate controls, keyless starting and a touch pad multimedia interface. The cabriolet model offers a power retractable soft top, the Airscarf to keep your neck warm, heated front seats and 18-inch wheels. Moving up to the C450 AMG you add Bluetooth audio streaming, 14-way power sport seats, the AMG adaptive sport suspension, adaptive braking, Collision Prevention Assist, and the ECO start/stop technology as part of the standard offerings.
Looking to the options you will find a long list if great items that include things like the Interior Package which brings you the leather upholstery, ventilated seats and multicolor LED ambient lighting. There are three engines offered on the C-Class and they’re set up five different ways. These engines are attached to a smooth operating seven-speed automatic transmission for great driving. The base engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine that is used on the C300 which brings in 241 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. This powertrain makes 25 city/34 hwy mpg for RWD models and 23 city/29 hwy mpg on AWD versions. Next is the same engine attached to a 60kW electric motor that’s found in the C350e, giving the car 275 horsepower and 443 lb.-ft. of torque.
Next we have the 3.0-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine used for the C450 AMG and AMG C43 models. This engine brings 362 horsepower and 384 lb.-ft. of torque and is set up with full time AWD while providing you with 21 city/29 hwy mpg of fuel mileage. The top engine is a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 and when used in the AMG C63 models you will have 469 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. of torque while in the AMG C63 S models the power is increased to 503 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. While fuel mileage isn’t the concern at this point in the engine range both version of this top engine provide you with 18 city/25 hwy mpg of fuel mileage.
