Incredible and Increased GM Sales in the Chinese Market

Incredible and Increased GM Sales for the Chinese Market

It’s no secret that GM has found a strong following and has had amazing success in the Chinese market.  This automaker has been able to increase its sales over a year before by 10.7 percent to reach a total of 382,723 models that were sold in October of this year.  This sales number is a total of the Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and Baojun brands that are all strong brands for the GM team in the area.  To help increase GM sales, they’re launching more than ten new and refreshed models in the second half of this year to give consumers in China more to choose from.

Breaking down the GM sales results for October are as follows:

Chevrolet China – Increased 17 percent to 61,065 models

Buick China – Increased 2.1 percent to 107,297 models

Cadillac China – Increased 36.1 percent to 17,018 models

Baojun China – Increased 56 percent to 104,755 models

Continued Growth for GM Sales

As you see the continued growth of the GM brands in China, the expectation is that this particular automotive company will be able to give more for the Chinese market that may make its way to our shores in the future.  The strong following of Buick in China continues to be evident and grows the way that we can admire as it becomes one of the brands that we’ll see for the future of driving in the largest market in the world.  The numbers are likely to increase even more of the next few years with GM adding more models each year to strengthen the foothold in China.
