More Power and Performance in One of Our Favorites

For many years the Jeep Grand Cherokee has been a favorite on the American automotive market. This SUV is one that represents higher quality and a build that’s more appreciated than most at a price you don’t have to feel guilty about taking on the trails and getting a few scuffs and scrapes on the vehicle in the outdoors. This SUV certainly has some company but most of those models are in the luxury classification which tends to have a hard time understanding you have to break a few nails in order to have the most fun on the trails.

For the 2017 model year the Grand Cherokee brings in the Trailhawk version to be the model that we’ll admire and enjoy more than most others. For the drive, which Jeep expected you’d want to take this brute off road, you’ll see additional skid plates and enjoy the benefit of the standard Quadra-Drive II 4WD system that has a two-speed transfer case. Add to this set up the electric rear limited slip differential, the Quadra-Lift air suspension, standard 18-ich wheels and the Kevlar reinforced Goodyear Adventure tires and you have an SUV that can tackle everything in its path. The Trailhawk provides you with a full 10.8 inches of ground clearance to make it a vehicle you’ll love on the trails.

For this off road ready SUV you’ll see there are three engines offered for you to choose from. The base model is the proven choice of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine which brings you 295 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. The move upward is a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that makes 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. Finally, the third choice for you is a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel which offers goof fuel mileage and excellent torque with the 240 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque that come from under the hood of this impressive and high performance model of the Grand Cherokee.
