01.27.17 - Dodge Charger in the Snow

Winter Isn’t Over Yet

While some parts of the country have experienced warmer than expected weather for most of the beginning of 2017 you should be reminded that February can often be the coldest month of the year. With that cold, for those of us who love to play in the snow, we hope for a deep blanket of the white stuff that can make winter more fun than you ever anticipated. If we do happen to receive a nice thick layer of snow on the ground there are several activities you can participate in and enjoy in the outdoors.

You can find the free classic winter activities such as building a snowman, having a snowball fight or making snow angels as fun things you can do. If you have a sled or two you can find a good sized hill and spend the day sledding, if you have cross country skis this could be a great way to have some fun and refreshing exercise. Of course if you have downhill skis and live near a resort you can visit and have some fun on the slopes as well, but some of the most fun you can have is in an empty parking lot in a high powered sports car.

It’s important to get to the lot before the snow plows have come and ruined all your fun, but if you get there early enough what you can do is have a lot of fun playing in the snow. What vehicle should you take to the lot to enjoy the fun? I would recommend a Dodge Charger Hellcat as a great choice. You bought the car for some fun and this is certainly one way this car can give you the fun times you want to enjoy in the snow covered world that may be part of what we see next month.

The Dodge Charger Hellcat offers you a smoking hot 707 horsepower form the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that puts you in charge of a car that will probably spin out of control in the snow. The RWD of the Hellcat is perfect for creating the amazing donuts in the snow and shooting up massive rooster tails of the white powder that you’ve come to play in. This activity can certainly be more fun than sledding or skiing and gives you a great way to get your favorite ride out for some fun in the fresh powder.

One item of note when it comes to playing in the snow in a high powered sports car, you need to have the right rubber on the car to get the job done. There are several different types of snow tires you can choose from and you might already have them on your car since it’s been winter for a while, but if now, pick out a great set of winter rubber to handle the challenge of the fun in the snow that you want to enjoy so that you’ll be ready to handle it.

If you want to see what the Hellcat Charger looks like playing in the snow, check out this video. This Hellcat is equipped with the right rubber for the fun in the white powder. Have some fun when the next snowfall comes and see what you can do in your own performance car before the plows get to the fresh snow on the ground. You bought your Hellcat for some fun, this is one way to let it loose and let the snow fly all around you in a wonderful winter wonderland of fun and supreme vehicular power.
