We have an expo show for just about everything and with vehicles that even means the SEMA show where the aftermarket expo allows automakers and aftermarket companies to team up and show us some amazing creations . These are the creative additions that can be made on a vehicle to allow those of us who buy these amazing four wheel works of art to enjoy the individuality that comes with many of them and the parts that have been added. When you want to see different ways a vehicle can be set up in order to give you the vehicle that does what you need, SEMA is the place to go.
For the upcoming show, Ford will showcase more than fifty vehicles, with three versions of the Edge to show us what this crossover certainly is capable of. This is a fitting choice since the Edge is one of the most popular crossovers on the market today, giving us a vehicle that really does warrant some updates to make it step away from the pack and show you ways you can update your own Edge to give you even better performance.
One model of the Edge is called the Tjin Edition. This model will add an Axalta Clipper blue paint job, add new headlights, ride on 22-inch modular wheels that have been fitted with Falken tires and offer an air suspension, Baer brakes, a new intercooler, custom exhaust and a fully refitted interior. These upgrades allow the Edge Tjin Edition to be sporty and offer a more dynamic ride than before. The higher ride height and beautiful blue of the vehicle will be instantly noticeable to anyone at the show while a ride out on the streets certainly gives off the feeling and enjoyment of the rest of the upgrades.
Coming in a gorgeous and alluring red color is the Ignition version. This version starts with the red and black paint job which makes you feel it must be the sinister and evil version of the Edge. This model is fitted with full carbon fiber aerodynamics and a custom engine kit. It also shows up with a larger lower grill, tinted glass, 22-inch monoblock wheels with Toyo Proxes tires, a new sunroof and full leather interior. The engine of this beauty has been redone with many aftermarket companies contributing to the upgrades to make this one bad looking and performing Ford Edge.
The third of the Edge models that will make their appearance at SEMA is the Vaccar Edition which has been blessed with silver and orange accents. This version will also stand on 22-inch wheels that have been fitted with Continental tires. The Vaccar offers a full air suspension, custom pain job, redone intake and exhaust along with a fully redesigned interior to complete the look. This model isn’t quite as over the top as the other two, but certainly offers a better ride and more engaged engine performance for you to fully enjoy the experience.
Whether you are a Ford fan or not, you have to admire the amazing upgrades that can be offered on the Ford Edge for you to add or just enjoy. This is just one example of how Ford is coming to SEMA strong with a platoon of great vehicles for us to admire and desire. Whether you decide you want a vehicle that has all these aftermarket additions or not it’s really cool to see how they can all work together from different companies in order to offer the height of performance in any vehicle.
